“Kind words are the music of the world. They have a power which seems to be beyond natural causes, as though they were some angel’s song which has lost its way and come to earth.”
I seem to be on a theme of music these last few days. Once again I find a reference to music that takes hold of me.
Kind words……think of kind words that have been said to you. Meant just for you. Words that touched your heart and moved you, maybe almost to tears. Isn’t it amazing how easy it is to say something kind and how often we forget to do that! All too often mean words pop out, maybe even unexpectedly. But the kind words are often times choked down, stuffed inside, swallowed, simply not allowed to express themselves.
Sometimes we feel kindness is seen as a weakness, when really, it may take courage to be kind, or use kind words, but the gift given and the gift of feeling good about yourself is totally worth any effort it might have taken.
Find one special person today and tell them something kind about who they are or what they do. If you don’t see anyone today, send an email or a text. It is absolutely win-win.
